40 Years Of The Fox - Here’s It Was Like Back In 2003!

We’re celebrating an incredible 40 years with you, Melbourne. It all started when we played George Benson’s ‘Breezin’ on a Sunday afternoon in 1980, giving away millions of dollars over the years and then all the way to being in lockdown together. It’s an incredible achievement and we wanted to celebrate by taking a look at what it was like in 2003.

Back in 2003, our Premier was Steve Bracks.

The number one song in the world was 'In Da Club' by 50 Cent.

The Fox FM breakfast show was The Matt & Jo Show.

The top fashion trends were all about thin scarves, white tank tops & bedazzled jeans.

The most popular TV show was 'The O.C.' What a claassic!

The richest person in Australia was still Kerry Packer.

The teams going head to head in the AFL Grand Final were the Lions & Collingwood.
